ALL THE LOVERS IN THE NIGHT

About this event

Exclusive Toronto Pre-Theatrical Premiere Proofreader Fuyuko is an introverted person of quiet routines. Born of Christmas Eve, her annual tradition is a solitary midnight walk when only , "rdquo" -> half the world remains". One evening, she meets Mitsutsuka, a soft-spoken physics lecturer who's just as reticent and fastidious as she is. Soon, they start taking walks together, sitting in cafés and talking the night away -- two lonely satellites briefly, tenderly brought into shared orbit... A delicate exploration of loneliness, human connection, light and hope, this Cannes Film Festival favourite is based on Mieko Kawakami's acclaimed novel. Director Yukiko Sode Starring Yukino Kishii, Tadanobu Asano, Misato Morita, Akihisa Shiono, Tori Matsuzaka (narrator), Mai Fukagawa
